Nor’easter of November 7 – 8, 2012. Plenty of Snow!

The final tally of the Nor’easter of November 7 – 8, 2012 is over 8 inches of heavy, wet, sloppy snow. This came on the heels of the devastation by Hurricane Sandy. Time to fly the Raven Banner and to hope the wacky meteorology is finished for the time being.

Electric-Less

We spent the past five days in the dark, without electricity. We had no lights, no computer, no phone, no heat, no stove. Cooking was done on camp stoves using Sterno and heat pellets.
