A Spinning Ken Rune

Does the Ken Rune cycle? Or is it a steady beacon? Our lesson is not in the Ken Rune, but in one of the things that symbolizes the Rune.

Lighthouses each have their own beacons. Some are steady and some pulsate. The pulsating blips are caused by the rotation of the light. Depending on the speed of the spin and shape of the lens, a lens can blip once twice, or more in a given time. By the number of blips, sailors can tell which lighthouse they are seeing.

The light itself is shining straight out. The course of the light is caused by the spinning of the lens in which it burns. So it is that the constant light is given a cycle.

We see this in searchlights that move in continuous circles. The light scans the ground, illuminating but a small circle of it as it traverses. Another example is the radar screen, where the scanner courses in an arc, and blips are illuminated as it passes. So it is that the light is constant, but its motion makes its passage brief.

Ken is the light, but the motion is Raido. Through Raido, the constant thing can have a cyclic application.
